Housing Services

IDHA’s Housing Services program has helped reduce homelessness by providing housing advocacy and stabilization services to immigrant, refugee, and limited English proficient (LEP) populations in Seattle’s Chinatown/International District (CID) and greater Seattle area. Multilingual staff with deep community roots help clients address cultural barriers to maintaining their housing in times of crisis.

The Housing Services program provides support services along a  spectrum of activities:

  • Eviction prevention
  • Landlord-tenant mediation
  • Emergency rental assistance
  • Tenant outreach and education
  • Application assistance, information and referral
  • Housing assistance to victims of domestic violence

    To improve the quality of life of Chinatown/ International District (CID) residents and Asian Pacific Islanders of greater Seattle by providing community-building and housing-related services.

    IDHA is merging with the InterIm CDA and will be under the name InterIm CDA. We look forward to building an even stronger community in 2012!!
